Beit Loewenstein, which is affiliated with the Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, is Israel’s largest, most inclusive rehabilitation hospital and one of the most progressive rehabilitation hospitals in the world. Recognized internationally for its intensive, tailored programs and outstanding care, Loewenstein has the experts, technology and experience to meet virtually any rehabilitation need. It has over 50 years of experience and has provided treatment to more than 100,000 patients from all over the country, as well as from abroad.
Loewenstein has researched and developed new techniques and improved prosthetic devices that are being adapted globally. In line with its efforts to help patients reintegrate into their homes, communities, and places of work, the center coordinates vocational training and psycho-social assistance. Additionally, Loewenstein has pioneered treatment for traumatic brain injury patients.
The rehabilitation center contains about 300 beds for inpatients and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, which in addition to physicians includes therapists in various health professions (nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, and psychology).
