Meir Medical Center is the major medical center in the Sharon region of Israel, which has a staff of 2,500, over 100 departments and units and about 750 beds.

The medical center is a leader in pulmonary disease treatment and spinal surgery. Additionally, Meir boasts a comprehensive sports medicine center and serves as the official medical center for Israel’s Olympic team and some of its national sports teams.

Meir serves over 800,000 residents from Ramat Hasharon to Netanya. Close to the West Bank, the hospital plays an important role in promoting coexistence while responding quickly to people injured in terrorist attacks and outbreaks of violence. It admits close to 60,000 people, performs 18,500 operations and delivers 6,000 babies annually.
