Geha Adult Outpatient Clinic
Geha meets the urgent need for adult outpatient services with the new Mental Health Center Ambulatory Care Wing. In recent years, the total number of adult patients served by Geha has increased by 29%. The 2015 Israeli reform of the mental health system encouraged physicians to make referrals and allowed financially strapped patients to seek support
To meet the dramatic increase in patients, Geha boosted the clinic’s staff. IHF raised funds that Clalit matched one-to-one, which were used to build a new clinic – a two-story building with 35 treatment rooms, four group therapy rooms, two nursing rooms, a triage room, comfortable and airy waiting areas and reception facilities.
